The Fighter

“The Fighter” is the fifth single from Keith Urban’s album, Ripcord. Urban told Billboard, “The song is about wanting to heal somebody, wanting to protect somebody. It’s really like a vow in so many ways.” Needless to say, his wife, Nicole Kidman, was the inspiration.

Even though this song wasn’t written with a D/s relationship in mind, (as far as we know), it exemplifies how a Dom feels about his sub.

It’s one of our favorite songs, and we hope you enjoy.

Yes Boss

It’s not often one comes across a song that expresses D/s sentiments. We wished to share one we discovered on YouTube, “Yes Boss,” one that does so in an understated but erotic manner.

We hope you enjoy. — Alpha & kat

Love’s Journey

A lovely poem that speaks to me on many levels.

“Love’s Journey”

A collaboration by JW and Cathy

All my life I have searched for you

in the forest, woods, meadows, and glades

first in the light, then shadows, then dark;

convinced that I would instantly know

your voice, your lips, your touch

Yet dreams remained dreams, and you an illusion

And I was alone, a wolf without a mate… or pack;

tempted, sad, faithless

I sought out others but they were not real

None could fill the void that only you could

A void with your shape to complete me

The others? Only flimsy constructs that fell apart

Beneath the weight of broken vows and time

All my life I have searched for the one

That knew his place

Accepted it completely

Heart, mind, and soul

The one that would make me whole

Be my reason to be; my purpose

Guide, mentor, master

Teaching me through actions, not words

Daddy can be sweet
Daddy can be kind
But when this girl misbehaves
Daddy spanks my behind

Daddy can be strict
Daddy can be tough
But when this girl needs lovin’
Daddy provides more than enough

Daddy can be firm
Daddy can be fair
But when this girl is stressed out
Daddy’s lap becomes my chair

Daddy can be playful
Daddy can be so cool
But when this girl is naughty
Daddy’s hand confirms his rule

Daddy can be smoke
Daddy can be fire
But when this girl is wanton
Daddy fills every need and desire

In Dreams

In dreams…
She exists in another place and time
Before people and circumstances changed her

In dreams…
He recalls a real time and place
When he regained power over a powerless past

In dreams…
She’s sweet sixteen again
Her life spread out endlessly before her

In dreams…
He remembers bad boy status; outcast pride
They tell him a tragic end is set in stone

In dreams…
He crashes into her life
Like waves breaking upon a rocky shore

In dreams…
His playing the field crashes into a solitary desire
And turbulent waters cast him adrift from his lonesome highway

In dreams…
She’s swept up and away
In the green ocean of his dancing eyes

In dreams…
He embraces the waves in a sensual sea
Sunlit radiant smile and her shimmering emerald eyes

In dreams…
He offers her his hand
Strong, steady, secure…knowledgeable

In dreams…
She is eager to accept his strength
While she inspires him to be the best he can be

In dreams…
Her cold fingers reach out
And are swallowed in the warmth that is him

In dreams…
He feels her cold; senses her trembling
Yet he has always been hot-blooded: and radiates

In dreams…
He pulls her up into the light
That shines in the form of his face, his body

In dreams…
He is compelled to draw her to him
Introduced to his other half for the first time

In dreams…
Her back settles against his chest
And he wraps her in the ironclad cage of his arms

In dreams…
He must embrace her; join, meld, merge
Never has he felt so complete and whole; he is home

In dreams…
She is controlled…safe
From the terrors of the outside world and herself

In dreams…
He assumes his place; takes control… protects
Slaying metaphorical dragons without, and demons within

In dreams…
She takes a different path
Than the one her feet set upon so many years ago

In dreams…
He speaks…guides…and she melts
Communication insures a future forever intertwined

In dreams…
He leads, and she follows
Into a life that was always…always, meant to be

In dreams…
He commands; she obeys
Loving dominance, loving submission;

love is the key to what was always meant to be…
